James pots two awards
Shrimp Fisherman, James Peet has scooped two awards in the North West Fine Food's competition to find its Championship Producer of the Year.
James, of Banks Village, came out tops in the seafood category thanks to his Southport Potted Shrimps, and were also runners-up overall, winning the Reserve Champsionship award.
This was the first year of the competition, the aim of which is to reward excellence in North West speciality food production.
A panel of eight food experts, including producers, restauranteurs, delicatessen managers and food writers, judged the entries on quality, taste, texture and appearance.
