About Us
The business, Southport Potted Shrimps, was founded in 1980 by James Peet, who had been a shrimp fisherman for 25 years. His family has been involved in the local shrimp industry for over four generations.
Southport Potted Shrimps are made from Brown Shrimps by a local family of fishermen who have years of experience in the industry. They have refined the recipe to maintain the highest quality and biological standards, which are in line with the traditional shrimp industry.
The business is a member of the Shellfish Association of Great Britain (SAGB) and North West Wine Foods Ltd.
